Paul George will become the latest Nike Basketball signature athlete with the release of his first signature shoe, the PG1. Nike unveiled the model on Monday via the "2K" colorway seen here that references his love of gaming and his appearance on the cover of NBA 2K17.
The low-cut PG1, designed by Tony Hardman, features a forefoot strap, Flywire cable, and forefoot Zoom Air cushioning. The shoe also has fish scale paneling and a bobber-inspired lacelock referencing George's love of fishing.
George will debut his Nike PG1 as the Pacers play the Nuggets in London on Thursday, Jan. 12.
The suggested retail price for the Nike PG1 is set at $110. Nike's release on the sneaker omits any firm release date info, saying only that additional launch details are to come.
