This year's crop of Black History Month sneakers continue to leak as February approaches. The Air Jordan 1 will be one of the many celebratory shoes connected to the month honoring black excellence, with this pair releasing on Feb. 11.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High style uses a black and gold colorway that's been spotted on previous BHM offerings from Nike and Jordan. Note that while this is an Air Jordan 1 Retro High, the model doesn't have the "OG" designation, hence the lack of Nike Air branding.
Also on the way next month is a "BHM" Nike LunarEpic Flyknit.
Similar but separate from Nike and Jordan's Black History Month collections were the recent player exclusive styles created for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
