Nike has made it clear that it's got big plans for the Air Force 1 in 2017, and even got started on those plans early by releasing high profile pairs at the end of 2016. It appears that some collaborations are on the way, with London-based brand A-Cold-Wall possibly bringing the above one to retail.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, the sneaker was featured on A-Cold-Wall founder Samuel Ross' Instagram. It's possible Air Force 1 is just a custom, but the design and the NikeLab tag in the photo suggest a deeper connection.
Ross has worked under Virgil Abloh, whose Off-White label has an Air Force 1 on the way, so it's not hard to imagine him being on NikeLab's radar as a collaborator. In fact, Nike already utilized Ross' label to show off last year's SFAF-1.
Sole Collector will have sneaker release date info on the A-Cold-Wall x Nike Air Force 1 should the shoe make its way to stores.
