Remember when Cam Newton wore cleats with fur tails attached to the heels a few weeks ago and seemingly put an end to any discussion about who'd wear the craziest pair of customs this season? Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller just sacked Newton again.
Ahead of the Broncos' Week 14 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, Miller unveils his latest custom for pregame warm-ups. The inspiration? His love of chickens. Miller studied poultry science at Texas A&M and famously raises chickens in his spare time. He even has a cockerel tattoo.
His "Chickens Are Dope" Adidas Freak cleats are inspired by Polish Roosters, constructed with skived premium leather for a feather-like appearance. The cleats also feature actual feather arrangements on the tongues and were packaged for Von with chicken wire and wire cutter.
See Miller take the field in the wildest custom cleats to date before the Broncos and Titans kick off tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. EST.
