Draymond Green Confronts Racism with Golden Custom Sneakers

Draymond Green is wearing custom sneakers in an effort to do away with racism.

As you've probably noticed, NFL players are wearing custom cleats representing personal causes the weekend. One of the more common issues being acknowledged is racism, often linked to RISE to Win's "Sideline Racism" initiative. With the help of sneaker customizer Mache, several players will be hitting the field in golden RISE cleats to spread awareness, but the message is carrying over into other sports as well.

Tonight, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will join his fellow athletes by competing in a pair of RISE custom sneakers of his own. Also the work of Mache, the Nike Zoom Clear Out is styled in royal and gold, along with custom details shouting out the non-profit in an effort to help sideline racism.

Ahead of the Warriors 10:00 pm PST tip-off, Green shared the following message about his sneakers:
