As expected, Russell Westbrook has launched an all-out assault on stat sheets this season. His run up the MVP ladder continued at home against the Detroit Pistons yesterday.
For the seventh time this season, Westbrook finished with a triple-double, recording 17 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists in the Thunder's 106-88 victory. It was the 44th triple-double of his career — already tying him with LeBron James in just 605 games.
Westbrook made a little more history in a new blue-based "OKC" Air Jordan 31 PE. Once again, his personal pair is finished with Air Jordan 30 tooling, as opposed to the standard Jordan 31 sole.
