Nike's latest signee is not a promising young athlete, but rather a model with a massive social media following. Bella Hadid, younger sister of Gigi Hadid, announced on Instagram on Monday that she is now "officially part of the Nike family."
Hadid obviously doesn't give Nike much in the realm of top-tier athletes, but it's not hard to see why the brand would want to align with the young model when one considers the combined 8 million followers she has across her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The 20-year-old model previously walked for Puma at Rihanna's FentyxPuma show in February, 2016, and recently broke up with Puma-aligned singer The Weeknd.
