Seattle is the next metropolis to get its own Nike shoe, this one a take on the Air Max 90 catering to the culture of the city in the Pacific Northwest. The toebox of the shoe is decorated with icons referencing the Space Needle, Bigfoot, and Seattle's fishing industry.
Fittingly, this sneaker will only be available in the city it owes its theme to. The Nike Air Max 90 "Seattle" releases on Oct. 15 exclusively at the Nike x Nordstrom boutique in downtown Seattle.
Nike has made a habit of connecting Air Max styles to cities across the world in recent years, but has avoided Seattle in those series for cultural hubs like New York City, Paris, and Tokyo.
