Today, the dream of owning a pair of self-lacing Nike Mags from Back to the Future: Part II will become a reality for a lucky few. Nike will announce the winners of the sneakers within the next hour via the Nike+ app.
Ahead of the announcement, the brand rolled out a video on Nike SNKRS featuring designer Tinker Hatfield and Marty McFly himself, Michael J. Fox, discussing the charity sneaker release.
"I want to thank every one of you who participated for your generous support of our efforts to speed a cure for Parkinson's," Fox says. "Your contributions mean so much to our foundation, and to me personally."
While Nike has yet to quantify how much money was raised or how many entered its The Draw release of the shoes, Hatfield mentions that millions took part.
