Before becoming a superstar in the Steel City, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was born and raised in Miami. Heading back home for a matchup with the Dolphins this weekend, Brown is using his latest pair of custom cleats to pay homage to two late South Florida legends.
With the help of artist Corey Pane, Brown will wear cleats donning portraits of Marlins ace Jose Fernandez and prize fighter Kimbo Slice, both of whom passed away unexpectedly this year. The vibrant colors are a nod to South Beach aesthetic.
There's no telling whether or not Brown will actually play in the cleats, but we'll almost surely see them during pregame warm-ups.
