With Kevin Durant and Steph Curry joining forces in Golden State, the NBA MVP race is going to be very interesting this year with Russell Westbrook and Dame Lillard both carrying a heavy load and with both already getting off to impressive starts. And while Lillard has begun this season in last year's D Lillard 2, it looks like he will be transitioning into his new sneaker, the adidas D Lillard 3, very soon.
Similar to Dame's current sneaker, the D Lillard 3 features a mid-cut upper with a Primeknit construction. And although adidas has yet to confirm the cushioning setup, the midsole on the sneaker is very similar to the adidas AlphaBounce and it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that it would feature addidas Bounce, as the Lillard 2 does. The Portland Trailblazers "Home" colorway pictured here features a mix of white, black, and red with tributes to Oakland, Ogden, and Oregon, on the footbed.
