After 20 years, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz will call it a career following this season. The Sox have a likely postseason run ahead of them, but New Balance is sending Big Papi out of the regular season in style.

In Boston's remaining series, Ortiz will wear special cleats inspired by each of the team's biggest division rivals — Boston, Tampa Bay, Toronto and, of course, New York. The Baltimore cleat pulls its look from Maryland's famous crabs, wrapped in a newspaper print featuring an article about Ortiz. Tampa is represented by a grey-based cleat that references its hammerhead sharks, along with pops of ice blue to mimic ocean water. There's a straightforward nod to Toronto with skyline graphic prints and a hard-to-miss taxi-themed pair for New York.

Additionally, there will be corresponding sneaker releases for each stop. The iconic New Balance 574 will release in similar colorways for Baltimore (Sep. 19), Tampa Bay (Sep. 23), New York (Sep. 27) and Toronto (Sep. 30) for $160 each at newbalance.com.

Lastly, to commemorate Ortiz's knack for coming up clutch, New Balance created "Final Walk-Off" cleats and sneakers. A “Walk Off 34” logo appears on the right cleat, while the dates of all of Ortiz’s walk off home runs on the left. A corresponding New Balance 998 will release exclusively at the brand's Boylston Street location for $200 on Oct. 2.
