If you're reading this, chances are pretty good that you have too many sneakers in your life. What can you do with those extra pairs that don't see a lot of wear and are never going to? One option is to donate to organizations like Hav a Sole.
The organization, founded by Rikki Mendias and based in Los Angeles, is profiled in the video above. Mendias started the charity after looking at his abundance of footwear and remembering when someone bought him new Vans when he was young and in need.
To date, Mendias has given away nearly 7,000 pairs of sneakers to the homeless community in Southern California.
