Adding any pair of original Air Jordan 1s from 1985 is essential to any sneaker collection. More often than not, it'll be a pair that shows every bit of their 30+ years of aging. However, there are a few exceptions, and Heritage Auctions recently uncovered one of those rare gems.
Up for grabs is a game-issued pair of "Chicago" Jordan 1s in Jordan's personal mismatched 13 and 13 1/2 size with TYPS tagging. What makes these special is that they're unworn and in pretty much the best possible shape that OG Jordan 1s can be in. There's no cracking around the collar, no creases on the toebox and yellowing along the midsole is minimal.
These are available to bid on now at Heritage Auctions, along with a game-worn pair of Air Jordan 1s from '85, Air Jordan 4s from '89 and "Concord" Air Jordan 11s from the 72-10 season.
