There aren't any Pokémon Go sneakers just yet, but one brand is already referencing the massively popular mobile game. In a new video shared on Twitter, Reebok looks to the potential fitness upsides of the game.

#PokemonGo = Fitness and we’re taking it to the next level. Who needs some new #Zprint shoes to help ‘Catch em all?' pic.twitter.com/wkwMrwcDVO

It's kind of strange to see the brand referencing the game by name and even showing it in the video, something that usually wouldn't happen without an official partnership.

In typical Reebok fashion, the spot ties to their commitment to fitness with a Spartan Race obstacle tossed in.

Is this piece of content from Reebok a smart marketing move capitalizing on a current craze, or a misplay in terms of sportswear companies trying to be clever?
