Continuing to attach his name to some of the biggest custom projects in sneakers, John Geiger has teamed up with LASCO to release a limited run of "Golden Child" Yeezy 2s.
Not custom in the reconstructing an existing sneaker sense, LASCO is more like Hender Scheme in producing its own "luxury" versions. According to the company's Instagram page, the golden Yeezys feature 62 individual pieces, 5 different types of leather and 3 different threads. In all, this requires more than 40 hours of work per pair.
Geiger and LASCO will release the shoe on Aug. 13.
