Nike's planting more multicolor Flyknit on Kevin Durant's new shoes with this, the "Birds of Paradise" KD 9 that was officially unveiled via a press release today.
The brand didn't give much background on the inspiration behind the shoe, but it was included in a story about Durant's latest trip to China with Nike Basketball, so it's possible it's intended as this year's "China" KD release. Note that if that is the case it won't affect regional availability–Nike says the shoe is releasing globally on Aug. 19.
Also on the way in terms of multicolor Durant sneakers are the "Unlimited" and the Warriors-themed NIKEiD versions.
