One of the flashiest Air Jordan 11s ever will release in August via this gold-tinted colorway. The sneaker, called the "Closing Ceremony" Jordan 11 by some, will be in stores on Aug. 27.
Why the nickname? There are rumors that it's attached to the 2016 Rio Olympics, although the event's closing ceremony actually takes place on Aug. 21, so the timing on the theme doesn't quite line up.
While this shoe's official release date is still a ways out, some pairs did launch early via a special Jordan Brand event in Las Vegas.
