Converse has more comic book sneakers available via this collection of customizable Chuck Taylors tied to the coming summer blockbuster Suicide Squad, which releases on Aug. 5. The shoes are available now via NIKEiD.
The options are somewhat limited, as the three different bases pretty much lock in the upper of the sneaker. Designers can apply Deadshot, Harley Quinn, or Joker graphics to the shoes.
Interestingly, Nike is calling this the "Custom Chuck Taylor DC Comics Squad High Top" rather than explicitly mentioning the full name of the movie. The word "suicide" appears nowhere on the product page, no doubt in an effort to avoid any controversy that could arise from Nike or Converse attaching that word to one of their shoes.
