Nike has special Serena Williams sneakers releasing for the French Open, with performance pairs and retros alike dressed in floral graphics.
On the performance end there's the NikeCourt Flare LG, which has flowers decorating its Swoosh and heel strip, while the retro side has an Air Max 1 with flowers on back. Somewhere in the middle of these two categories is the Nike Roshe LD-1000, which has a colorway similar to the Air Max 1 and a floral approach similar to the NikeCourt Flare.
The Air Max 1 and LD-1000 both feature messages scrawled on their insoles that make the Williams connection clear.
Nike hasn't announced a release date for this group, but rumor has it the sneakers will release on May 19.
