Chris Paul Donated 218 Pairs of Jordans to Kids in Need

Right in his hometown.

Chris Paul spread some sneaker love this week, donating 218 pairs of shoes to children at Cook Elementary School in Winston-Salem, N.C.

It doesn't look like Paul was present for the charitable act, but it was done through his Chris Paul Family Foundation and non-profit organization Shoes That Fit. Paul's parents were there at the school handing out sneakers though—they still live in his hometown of Winston-Salem.

"We just love to see the kids' smiles and see their faces," said Chris Paul's father, Charles.

Based on footage in the local news clip above, all the sneakers given away were Air Jordans, which makes sense given Paul's status as a longtime Jordan endorser.
