Yes, this new adidas NMD is releasing on May 28 after all. Today, adidas Originals confirmed the release date via its Twitter–but there's a catch. The May 28 date is for global retailers, and the shoes won't release in the U.S. until mid-summer.

The colorway is a flip on the first-ever adidas NMD release, a sneaker that sells for almost a thousand dollars on the resell market now. Like that shoe, this one uses the Primeknit build instead of the mesh one, meaning it will be more expensive than most NMDs at $170.
End Clothing is one of the retailers that will carry this pair come its May 28 release date.
