It's only right that adidas' costliest take on its Ultra Boost runner to date come from a maker of high-end sports cars.
Releasing this week is the white Porsche Design x adidas Ultra Boost, which will retail for $350 when it hits on April 15 online via Porsche Design and adidas.
The Porsche Design Sport by adidas line is headed up by Jacques Chassaing, a longtime adidas man responsible for classics like the ZX 8000. Chassaing described adidas' collaborative process on the shoe in a press release.
"We worked with Porsche Design to provide a new and exciting iteration, injecting the premium sophistication that the brand is renowned for and illustrating the transitional move from highly-active performance to premium sportswear," he said. "We fused proven adidas technologies with elevated design elements, such as distinctive luxury leather and subtle Porsche Design branding, creating a truly standout shoe designed for the sophisticated, style-led consumer of Porsche Design Sport by adidas."
There's also a black pair of the Porsche Design x adidas Ultra Boost on the way, although there's no release info yet for that style.
