Kobe Bryant's NBA retirement doesn't mean that his sneaker line is going anywhere.

Bryant himself told Sole Collector earlier this year that Kobe 12s and 13s are on the way, and today Nike PR director Heidi Burgett dropped more hints of what's to come.

There’s no end in sight to Nike’s relationship with @KobeBryant as a collaborator, an innovator and one of basketball’s cultural icons.
Kobe's shoes will continue to grace basketball courts worldwide – some new, some retro & some classics remastered w/ the latest innovations.

Burgett adds to the news of new Nike Kobes with mention of retro pairs and "remastered" designs. Her use of the word "remastered" doesn't appear to carry the same connotation as Jordan Brand's remastered retros that aim to recreate every detail of the originals, and instead suggests tech updates to archival Kobe silhouettes.

Nike's already released some retro Kobes via its "Prelude" and "Fade to Black" packs.
