Not many Nike Basketball releases this days are without a theme, and this pair of Kyrie 2s is no different.
The shoe is inspired by Kyrie Irving's love of red velvet cake, hence the tonal red treatment. Other than the red colorway there's not much here referencing the dessert in question—unless the soft suede is meant to represent the texture of the cake.
