For Anyone Who Missed HTM Nike Flyknit Mercurials

A close enough substitute.

No, the first-ever Nike Flyknit Mercurial Superfly isn't coming back. But, Nike is releasing a colorway soon that's pretty close to that pair.

Initial previews of the shoe had it looking almost like an exact copy, but this full set of angles reveals there are some differences. First of all, the speckling on the midsole here is darker than it was on the HTM pair. What's more, there's a tiny bit of color used via the tabs on the heels and on the insoles, where team orange appears.

In a press release yesterday, Nike announced that the 2016 Nike F.C. collection, which this shoe is a part of, would release beginning April 7 here. In addition, European retailers are listing them as a April 28 release.
