How surreal does it feel now that it's actually here? Kobe Bryant has played his final NBA game, taking to the hardwood one last time on Wednesday in the Nike Kobe 11.

The colorway he wore is from Nike's "Fade to Black" collection, a set whose color story speaks to the twilight of Bryant's career.

The Black Mamba's last game was vintage Kobe, with flashes of his former self showing and pretty much non-stop shooting earning him 60 points on the night. He even put together a cinematic ending, pouring the points on in the final minutes to give the Lakers a win.

In a move not at all fitting for Bryant, his last possession in the NBA ended with a pass.

While this looks to be the last time Kobe Bryant will play in Nike Kobes in the NBA, his sneaker legacy is far from over. Nike's promised that there are more designs to come, designs that will certainly be put into use by the next generation of players.

Long live the Mamba.
