While Nike's of course been the brand most focused on paying tribute to Kobe Bryant during his last days in the league, adidas athletes are also tipping their hats.
Over the weekend, James Harden did so by wearing a pair of adidas' The Kobe, an early signature model from Bryant's days on the Three Stripes roster, against Bryant and the Lakers.
The shoe, a bulky design inspired by the Audi TT Roadster, is anything but conspicuous, so we have to imagine the Black Mamba took note of Harden's footwear.
Adidas will release special-edition retros referencing Kobe Bryant's exit from the NBA soon.
