Boston sneaker store Concepts continues its campaign to be the most prolific sneaker store out there with yet another New Balance collaboration.
This 998, its third New Balance project this month, appears to be tied to the 2016 Boston Marathon. In its Instagram post introducing the shoe, the shop mentions that it is a "celebration of Boston’s running heritage," plus the sneaker releases online on the day of the race.
The shoe uses a patriotic colorway, reflective tongues, and reflective croc embossed panels.
This sneaker is available now exclusively at The Tannery and Concepts Cambridge for $220. An online release is scheduled for April 18.
