It looks like "Wings" Air Jordan 12s will be one of the more difficult retros to acquire in 2016.
Leaked images of the shoe on Instagram reveal that only 12,000 pairs were made, a tag on the inside of the tongue designating each sneaker's spot in the limited run. Elsewhere the shoe has a golden piece that reads "Wings" and a colorway borrowed from the "Playoffs" Jordan 12.
While this sneaker was originally rumored to be a Macklemore collaboration, the rapper is not affiliated with the project. Instead, per Jordan Brand source @_PO2345, this is a charity effort that will benefit the WINGS for the Future foundation.
The "Wings" Jordan 12 will release next month. There is no exact Jordan release date for this sneaker yet.
