With Air Max Day landing on Saturday, readers should brace themselves for plenty of content on Nike's famed visible Air shoes over the next week.
One of the shoes that nobody saw coming for the celebration is this, the Nike Air Max 1 Royal. A premium update to the 1987 Air Max shoe that started it all, the shoe uses nappy suede uppers, rebuilt midsoles and a leather piece protruding from the ankle.
While no U.S. sneaker stores have promised a release for these shoes yet, Solebox in Germany says it's launching them on Air Max Day, March 26.
