Forbes released its latest list of the world's billionaires this week, including Michael Jordan as the 1,577th richest billionaire in the world.
They're estimating Jordan's net worth at $1.14 billion, which makes him the 486th richest person in the U.S.
Forbes mentions Jordan's ownership of the Charlotte Hornets as accounting for a good chunk of his massive wealth. The millions of Air Jordans Nike sells every year don't hurt either of course.
Also landing on the list is Nike co-founder and chairman Phil Knight, the 24th richest billionaire and 16th richest person in the U.S. with an estimated worth of $26.1 billion.
