As Kobe Bryant's career continues to wind down, the Los Angeles Lakers picked up what had to be their most satisfying win of an otherwise disappointing season Sunday afternoon.
Seemingly next in line to get railroaded by the defending champions, the Lakers played hard whistle-to-whistle, holding the Warriors to their lowest three-point shooting percentage of the season. Bryant had just 12 points and 3 assists, but his on-court leadership was invaluable to a young group to shocked the world with a 112-95 victory at home. Jordan Clarkson led the Lakers' efforts with 25 points.
In the upset special, Kobe wore a relatively new "Lakers" Nike Kobe 11 PE — the same colorway he gifted to young fans who correctly guessed the name of his dog last week.
