The Air Jordan XXX is here, with Nike just now releasing official imagery on the shoe following Jordan Brand's Jordan 30 livestream.

The shoe is again designed by Nike legend Tinker Hatfield, the man behind the Air Jordan line's most memorable silhouettes. Hatfield first started his work on the shoe in February, 2015, at the request of Michael Jordan himself. His design began with a riff on an infamous photo of Michael Jordan from the 1988 Dunk Contest, which evolved into a galactic figure known as "Mister Cosmos" through Hatfield's handiwork.

From there, he brought in fellow designer Mark Smith to flesh out the silhouette, and the two collaborated on bringing the Jordan 30 to life.

On the technology side, the shoe has FlightSpeed traction on bottom, a lightweight upper that combines knit and woven materials and a knit cradle to keep the wearer's foot in place.

Jordan Brand has confirmed that the Jordan 30 will launch globally on Feb. 12.
