Earlier this month, Kentucky coach John Calipari was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
In his over two decades of coaching, a career spent mostly in the collegiate ranks with stops in the NBA, Calipari has garnered a number of coaching accolades while leading his teams to several national championships. To commemorate Hall of Fame induction, Brad Calipari - Coach Cal's son - commissioned a pair of "Hall of Fame " Nike Air Force 1s from True Blue Customs. With an all-white mid serving as the canvas, True Blue designed the shoe with an all-over net print and decorated the upper with logos of all the teams Calipari coached over the years along with a portrait of Coach Cal in action. With the personal nature of this gift, we anticipate these customs have a prominent place amongst Coach Cal's awards' showcase.
