If there's anybody who deserves some good playoff fortune, it's Derrick Rose.
Rose is playing postseason basketball for the first time in three years, and thus far, he's come up big for the Chicago Bulls. Last night, the biggest moment of his playoff career, when a banked in three-pointer as time expired gave the Bulls a 99-96 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and a 2-1 series lead.
Laced up in his adidas D Rose 5 Boost signature shoe, Rose caught the inbounds pass, dribbled near the top of the key and put up a desperate jumper over the outstetched arms of Tristan Thompson. The ball caught glass before finding the bottom of the net. Teammates then mobbed Rose, who was expressionless as he was lifted in the air.
Rose says he didn't call bank, but 2 points is 2 points in the league. The shot now puts pressure on the Cavs, who will stay in Chicago for Game 4 tomorow.
