In a February sitdown with the Breakfast Club, Kanye West explained his decision to launch the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost in a simple, neutral tone, stating that wild palettes and vibrant colors would soon be out of style. However, there are still sneakerheads that desire a little more color, and have taken the matter of getting it into their own hands.

Longtime customizer El Cappy took to Instagram earlier today to reveal his ‘Graduation’ Yeezy Boosts. The shoes bear artwork from West’s album, Graduation, on each heel. While Yeezy himself is moving away from color, the Takashi Murakami print is an expression of colorful, pastel imagery inspired by Superflat art.

While his custom is probably the best to date, El Cappy isn't the first to add a personal touch to the Yeezy Boost. Singer Chris Brown also added the Graduation bear to his pair last month, while rapper Trinidad James was recently spotted in a pair completely dyed yellow.
