Nike's approach of creating extra tall women's models with Lunar foam on bottom will continue via this strange new sneaker wedge model.
The sneaker, if it can be called that, is the Nike Lunarsandiator. The extra-tall look is meant as a re-imagining of the Gladiator sandal, and loses laces in favor of a zipper on the back end. If it needs to be said: this is exclusively a women's model, but small-footed readers could conceivably go up a size and a half if they really wanted to get their Sparta on. The Lunarlon cushioning here deviates from the standard linear look, and instead has some more geometric folds to its back end.
