Nike Air Command Force - White/Wolf Grey-Volt-Black

The upcoming Nike Air Command Force is what retro is all about.

words // Brandon Richard

The upcoming Nike Air Command Force is what retro is all about.

First, a look at the shoe's unusual high-cut evokes true vintage feeling, particularly in an era when designers are set on taking a minimalist approach to performance. Then, there's the pump technology, Nike's answer to Reebok back in 1991 and apparently fully functioning on the retro. Lastly, subtle but eye-catching volt accents associated with the character Billy Hoyle in the classic hoop film White Men Can't Jump.

The Air Command Force appears to be retro done right, and now we can let you know when you'll be able to get your hands on a pair. Look for the 'Billy Hoyle' colorway to hit Nike Sportswear retailers on Saturday, October 18 November 8 for $200.
