adidas Basketball Introducing John Wall Signature Line Next Season

A sign that adidas is encouraged by what Wall has shown in the past year, the brand will be introducing his new signature line next season.

Last January, adidas made the decision to move John Wall from Reebok to its own basketball category. The move marked a fresh start for Wall an an endorser, but the end of his signature sneaker line.

Since the change, the results for Wall and adidas Basketball have been mostly positive. He's been the lead for silhouettes like the Crazyquick, received his own PE make-ups of classic models and played the best basketball of his career in 3-Stripes. This year, Wall was named an All-Star for the first time and won the Slam Dunk Contest in the Crazy 1. A sign that adidas is encouraged by what Wall has shown in the past year, the brand will be introducing his new signature line next season.

Pictured below is indeed John Wall's first adidas signature shoe. Unlike any other recent adidas sig, Wall's shoe features a mesh build, scaled down frame and vertical stripe branding. The lacing system looks similar to what we've seen used in the Way of Wade series and Boost may or may not be handling the cushioning. Much more on the tech in the future.

So after an initial look, what are your thoughts on the adidas Wall? Are you satisfied with the design or would you like to see some changes? Is it a step up from his signature models with Reebok? Let us know and stick with us for more details as this story develops.
