At face value, the RISE x FILA Cage celebrates the spirit of New York City, debunking the myth that its inhabitants are "rude" or "brash." The deeper meaning reflects the boutiques opportunity to work with organizations who devote themselves to researching and developing a safe and sustainable cure to treat the HIV/AIDS pandemic globally.
Tomorrow, RISE will release its 'New York is for Lovers' capsule, which includes the aforementioned Cage and matching apparel. The red suede sneakers run from size 6.5 to 13 and will retail for $110.
The launch will take place exclusively in-store at 8:30 p.m. EST. Remaining pairs will be listed on rise45.com at 7:00 p.m. EST on June 30.
