Old school and new school clash in the latest commercial from adidas Soccer.
In 'House Match,' legends David Beckham and Zinedane take on Gareth Bale and Lucas Moura in a friendly game of house soccer. The spot was directed by renowned director Fernando Meirelles ('City of God') and co-directed by Cassiano Prado. Meirelles and Prado teamed up to direct the adidas World Cup commercial starring Lionel Messi and scored by Kanye West, released last month.
"Soccer stars are so used to being filmed that they've almost become actors, said Meirelles. "I was amazed to see how collaborative they were. Now that Beckham is retired from playing soccer, he could easily move his career straight to acting if he wanted and I mean that. That day's shoot was pure fun."
