With Carmelo Anthony's impending free agency with the New York Knicks this summer on the horizon, even a simple red colorway of his signature model sparked conspiracy theories that the high volume scorer is headed to Chicago on July 1st. There's also the fact that the brand releases pretty much every single model in red, one of the most popular colors ever thanks to the brand's namesake.

Luckily for Melo fans that just want a clean colorway atop one of his sneakers, Jordan Brand has this smooth Grey and Green Glow Melo 1.5 arriving now at stores.

Originally designed by D'Wayne Edwards, Melo's very first signature shoe smoothly blended the first and second Air Jordan models in a cupsole construction a decade ago. The Green Glow hue was first seen on last summer's underrated Retro IV, and now makes its way to the 1.5 Retro in well executed fashion.
