Earlier this month, Robert Griffin III officially unveiled his new adidas logo. Now, his first signature cleat arrives in a new colorway.
The adidas RG3 'Carmouflage' is inspired by automotive industry’s prototype testing process, meant to test future product without revealing design lines. We first saw the concept used on the adizero 5-Star 3.0.
Debuted on Veteran's Day, the RG3 cleat features a 5/8 speed mid-cut that provides support without adding bulk and weight, while a full-length internal TechFit liner wraps the foot for a sock-like fit. The engineered lightweight upper featuring QuickWeb technology provides zoned, lightweight support and the QuickFrame plate gives players the traction to stop on a dime and make quick changes of direction.
You can buy the RG3 in 'Carmouflage' for $150 at adidas.com.
