Following the launch of the first shoe back in November, BAIT and Saucony return with the 'Cruel World 2' Shadow Original this month.
Continuing with the theme established by the first, 'Cruel World 2' features cruelty-free vegan materials such as vegas suede, canvas and natural hemp. The midsole, outsole and other components are also vegan-approved. A clean black, red and natural scheme was applied to the runner, which sits atop a unique speckled outsole. The tongue carries a disclaimer assuring wearers that the shoe is made of 'non-violent constructs,' while heel detail reinforces positive symbolism.
Last Thanksgiving, the 'Cruel World' Shadow Original helped raise $15,268 for A Place Called Home. After surveying the public, BAIT has decided that proceeds from 'Cruel World 2' will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The 'Cruel World' Shadow Originals 2 releases this Saturday, March 22 in-store at BAIT Diamond Bar and BAIT Orange County and online at baitme.com.
