There are stretches of time that it feels like there is a retro Jordan release every week. But the Christmas holiday has become a time seemingly reserved for those shoes which are a little more “special.”

December has showcased major retro releases dating all the way back to 2001, but Christmas week practically became tradition beginning with 2004’s 12/22 release of the Black / True Red Air Jordan 13 Retro, and the Last Shots on Christmas Eve the following year.

Things got even more serious in 2009, when the focus shifted to Air Jordan 11 Retros coming out as that last pre-Christmas release. Beginning with the 12/23 launch of the Space Jams that year, we’ve since seen Cool Greys, Concords, “Breds,” and, of course, this year’s Gammas.

The weeks surrounding the 11 launches have gotten more serious as well as of late. Last year saw the “Thunder” 4 return during that same timeframe. And this year’s 11 launch has been sandwiched between Taxi 12s, and Black and Red OG 1s.

So, that brings up the question, which Air Jordans are you hoping to see come back next holiday season? Do you think it will finally be time for the Columbias to make their highly awaited return? Or could we see another new colorway of the 11 Retro? What about other models? Could more original colorways of classic models brought back then too? Let us know which ones you’d most like to see.
