Back in November, Michael Jordan's son Marcus tweeted that he felt custom sneakers don't amount to much more than fakes. The statement stirred up some expected controversy within the sneaker community, but it seems that he's had a change of heart.
Marcus enlisted the services of JBF Customs' Jake Ferrato to craft this special 'New Year's Eve' edition of the Air Jordan 1. Using the Black/Gold Air Jordan 1 High OG as the base shoe, Jake reworked the upper using genuine black and gold python with lambskin-lined interiors.
You have to believe after seeing these, Marcus is now a fan of the custom game. And this pair is 1-of-1, so he can show up pops next time he sees him.
