Even though Kevin Durant plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, his connection to the DMV area runs extremely deep. While we have already seen the KD V and KD VI sport vibrant colorways dedicated to the DMV, it looks like Maryland's blue crab will serve as the muse for this special edition pair of KDVI’s. With the upper sporting a punchy crab inspired blue color, the vibrant hits of orange about the logos and inner lining make for another festive offering from KD’s signature line. Throw in some tasteful crab-inspired graphics throughout the low cut silhouette and you have an upcoming release that will put any ultimate feast to shame. Like many other previews we have shared with all of you sneakerheads, there isn’t a stitch of release info to share at the present moment. When it comes to the KD line, you definitely have to keep your eyes open and expect the unexpected. We can thank the surprise release of the “DC Pre-Heat” KDVI’s for that valuable sneaker retail lesson. Now that the unconventional “Texas” colorway has already released, we guess we will have to wait for the team over at Nike to get their KD sneaker ducks in a row and figure out when this pair of "Maryland Blue Crab" KD's and all the other new colorways are going to release.
