The much sought after Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Xing Qi" will make a surprise appearance this week, releasing in limited numbers at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers across China. Rumors of a re-release started with the Nike Shanghai Footwear Collection teaser video from earlier this month, and have been confirmed today, as new images of the "XQ" begin to surface online.

The rare Black / Gold Dust / Sport Red / White colorway was originally released in 2007, exclusively at the Jordan Brand flagship store in Shanghai. They were limited to 240 pairs, each containing a unique serial number that could be registered at Jumpman23.com and certified for authenticity. 

The 2013 version will release this weekend, beginning on Friday, July 26, at Nike's Shanghai flagship stores, the Nike Huaihai Brand Experience Store and select Jordan Brand retailers throughout China.
