Today, adidas officially unveils the adizero Crazy Light 3, the lightest sneaker in basketball. Tipping the scales at just 9.4 ounces, the Crazy Light 3 is designed for ultimate comfort and performance with a more comfortable upper, improved cushioning and ankle support.
New aerodynamic 4-layer SprintWeb was engineered with added foam in key areas to improve comfort and support. The collar is 16% thicker and a molded 3D tongue provides additional comfort. An enlarged asymmetrical SprintFrame allows maximum motion control and a radical wave bone traction system features a new and improved multi-level surface for grip and flexibility.
The first of a wide variety of Crazy Light 3 colorways features a Pride Blue SprintWeb base, accented by a contrasting Electricity SprintFrame and reflective 3-Stripes.
This summer, the Crazy Light 3 will be in action when NBA stars Ricky Rubio, Mike Conley Jr. and Jrue Holiday tour China as part of the adidas Quick vs. Fast Tour.
The adizero Crazy Light 3 drops Thursday, August 1 in ten colorways for $140 at adidas.com, Foot Locker and Eastbay.
